Many parts of eastern and north-eastern India including central India are likely to receive rain and hailstorm along with strong winds, which may damage crops. However, this is expected to bring some relief from the heat. There will be rain in the southern districts of West Bengal including Kolkata, which may affect the IPL cricket match to be held on March 22. Rain activities are also likely to increase in South India, while the heat will intensify in North and North-West India due to rising temperatures after two days.
