The maggot comes out of these eggs and makes a tunnel in the fruit and eats the fruit’s pulp, which causes the fruit to rot.
The fruits become curved and become weak and separate from the vine.
On the damaged fruit, the egg keeps the fluid coming out from the given place, which later becomes a khurnt.
For the control of this pest, use Fenpropathrin 10% EC @ 400 ml/acre or Profenofos 40% + cypermethrin 4% EC @ 400 ml/acre or Spinosid 45% SC @ 60 ml /acre.
UseBeauveria Bassiana @ 250gram/acre as a biological treatment.
