Relief from heat will be available soon, rain is expected in many states

Rain activities are possible in many states of East India such as Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa and East Uttar Pradesh. Scattered thunderstorms or light rain is possible in some states of North India also, due to which the temperature will drop and there will be relief from the heatwave. There is a possibility of rain once again over the mountains including South India and North Eastern states.
