A cyclonic wind area off the coast of Maharashtra will pull the monsoon towards Maharashtra and heavy rains are expected in many districts of Maharashtra. Torrential rains may also cause waterlogging on the northern coast of Goa and Karnataka. The monsoon will soon reach Mumbai and Pune and may also cover southern Chhattisgarh and Odisha. Light rain with dust storm is expected in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. Monsoon rains are going to continue in the northeastern states. The weather of northeastern Madhya Pradesh including Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangatic West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh will remain dry and hot.
