To overcome this shortage of green fodder, the Indian Veterinary Research Institute has developed a special type of grass for the farmers. This grass has been prepared by mixing millet and Napier. This grass has been named Bajra-Napier Hybrid Grass.
The consumption of this grass increases the milk production capacity of the animals and it increases by about half to one liter.
