The monsoon trough has now shifted towards the mountains. Under its effect, the weather in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi will remain dry for the next two days. Now rain activities are likely over Northeast states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh as well as East Madhya Pradesh. The weather of South India will be dry and warm as a whole though there will be rain over Vidarbha and Maharashtra coast including coastal parts of Karnataka.
