Day and night temperatures are likely to rise slightly over North India including Central India and East India for the next two days. Heavy snowfall is possible in the mountains which will subside after 24 hours. There is a possibility of light rain in the Terai areas of Punjab. Light rain may also occur over Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Light snowfall is also possible in the mountains of Himachal.
