The monsoon line is now moving towards North India. During the next 24 hours, rain activities will increase in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Northeast states including Punjab and Haryana. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in North Punjab and North Haryana including Uttarakhand as well as Northwest Uttar Pradesh on July 12. Rain activities will also be seen in the northern districts of Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is also expected in south-eastern Uttar Pradesh including Siddhi, Satna, Singrauli, Pana. There will be good rain in many districts of Madhya Pradesh including eastern districts of Gujarat and southern and eastern Rajasthan. Heavy rain is expected on the coast of Karnataka including Vidarbha and coastal districts of Maharashtra.
