Under this scheme, treatment facilities up to Rs 5 lakh are provided to each family in major hospitals. The most important thing about this plan is that the cost of treatment does not have to be paid by the person taking health insurance.
To join this scheme, you have to go to your nearest government hospital and contact the CMO. Here you have to enter the name of your entire family. Ayushman card is given to the eligible people of this scheme. If a person’s card is not made, then he can get his card made by meeting the Prime Minister’s Arogya Mitra who is in the hospital at the time of hospitalization.
