The government will give a subsidy of Rs 10000 for rearing this animal

Along with farming, many farmers also get good income by doing animal husbandry. Most Indian farmers rear cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats, etc., but in Gujarat and Rajasthan farmers rear camels on a large scale. Camel rearing is also a very profitable business and for this reason, it is being promoted by the government as well.

The Government of Rajasthan even gives a grant of Rs 10,000 to encourage camel rearing. Under this, the female camel and her child are given identity cards by tagging them. After issuing the identity card, the first instalment of Rs 5000 is given to the person rearing the camel. After this, when the camel children turn one year old, then Rs 5,000 is again given to the cattle rearer in the form of a second instalment.
