A low-pressure area has formed over the Arabian Sea which may further develop into a storm. At present, after reaching the south of Gujarat, there is a possibility of turning in the northwest direction. The low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal can become a depression and give heavy rains in Northeast India and bring the monsoon there. There is a possibility of weakening of the monsoon after knocking over Kerala and delayed arrival of the monsoon is also seen in the southern peninsula and central India.
