The cyclone has weakened and is now over interior Tamil Nadu in the form of a depression. It can weaken further and cross Kerala and reach the Arabian Sea as a low pressure. Due to its effect, there will be heavy rains in many districts of Tamil Nadu during the next 24 hours. Rain activities will also increase in Karnataka and Kerala. A good Western Disturbance will come over the mountains between 7 and 10 November which can give heavy snowfall. The weather of the rest of the country will remain almost dry during the next few days. Winds blowing from the north will once again increase the cold.
