For the last few days, the mood of the weather has started changing and the minimum temperature is falling. With the falling temperature, it is now expected that the Winter will start in the next eight to ten days. The Meteorological Department of Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology has also predicted that in the next 10 days of Winter will knock in many states of the country.
The low-pressure area has developed over the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea due to which light rains are expected in many states of East Uttar Pradesh including West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, and Madhya Pradesh.
Meteorologist Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that a low-pressure area has formed in the central part of the Bay of Bengal. Significantly, during the monsoon, the rainy wind brings moisture, but at present, the monsoon system is not raining due to weakening. When the western disturbance air is dry, the coolness in the atmosphere increases. This air collides with the Himalayas and makes it rain during winter in the plains.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains may occur in many states including eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, due to the cyclone over the eastern central Arabian Sea, there is a possibility of heavy rains over the next 4 to 5 days in Northeast and Peninsular India.

Apart from this, heavy rains are likely to occur over coastal Karnataka and southern Konkan-Goa region in some places with good monsoon rains during the next 24 hours.

It is worth noting that there has been torrential rains in many areas of Kerala in the last 24 hours as well as light rain at many places in Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Southwestern, and North Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, and Arunachal Pradesh. Heavy to very heavy rainfall occurred in some parts with moderate rainfall.

According to the Meteorological Department, torrential rains are expected in many areas of North India in the next 24 hours.
During the last 24 hours, Konkan Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Rayalaseema, southern Madhya Pradesh, southern Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh have received light to moderate rains. Light rains have occurred at few places in North and East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Northeast India.
In the coming 24 hours, the Meteorological Department forecasts that light to moderate rains may occur over Konkan Goa and coastal Karnataka. In addition, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, South Rajasthan, South Madhya Pradesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands may receive light to moderate rains. At the same time, moderate showers may fall at one or two places in Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Kerala amid light rain.
