Apart from these insects, the attack of fruit flies and red pumpkin beetles is also seen on the crop.

For fruit fly control, spraying of Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 4% EC [Profenova super] @ 400 ml or Spinosad 45% SC [Tracer] @ 75 ml/acre can be done.

The use of pheromone trap 10 per acre is also beneficial for fruit fly control.

For control of Red Pumpkin Beetle, Spray Lambda Cyhalothrin 4.9% CS [LamNova] @ 250 ml or Bifenthrin 10% EC [Marker] @ 400 ml/acre.

For biological control of all these pests, use Beauveria bassiana [Bave curb] @ 500 gm/acre.
