Get a grant of up to Rs 50 lakh for goat, sheep, pig and poultry farming

Government will give subsidy of 20 lakh rupees, start goat farming business

National Livestock Mission

Goat rearing business can become a medium of good earning for the farmers. Looking at these possibilities, the government is also helping goat-rearing farmers. It has been decided by the government to give a huge subsidy on goat rearing. To take advantage of this, farmers can start goat rearing either alone or in partnership with other farmers and can take advantage of this subsidy.

This subsidy will be made available for the Bundelkhand region under the National Livestock Mission run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. Under this, farmers can set up units of 100 to 500 goats.

If the farmers want to start a unit of 100 goats, then the expenditure involved in this has been fixed at Rs 20 lakh. For this unique, cattle rearers will get a subsidy of Rs 10 lakh from the government. If farmers want to start a unit of 200 goats, then the government will give a subsidy of Rs 20 lakh for this.
