Monsoon will again appear weak in the states of Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi etc. including Madhya Pradesh. From August 25, rain may start again in East India.

The depression has now moved towards Rajasthan, due to which there will now be heavy rains over South Rajasthan including North Gujarat and Southern parts of Pakistan. Now, rain activities will be very less over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

A Deep Depression over the northern parts of the Bay of Bengal can give heavy rains to many parts of West Bengal, Jharkhand, South Bihar, some districts of Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It will further weaken further but will continue to receive rain activities over many parts of Madhya Pradesh including Rajasthan. Rain activities will remain less over the southern peninsula. It will also start raining over the mountains including Delhi Punjab Haryana.

A Deep Low-Pressure Area is over South Pakistan and a Low-Pressure Area is over the Bay of Bengal. Under the influence of these two, rain activities can increase over Central India including East India. Heavy rain is expected over the hills including Delhi, Punjab Haryana. After 2 days rain is also possible in East Rajasthan.

Heavy to very heavy rain is possible in Sindh province of Pakistan too. During the next two-three days, the weather in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan will remain almost dry.

The depression over Chhattisgarh will now further intensify into a deep low-pressure area. Now the rain activities will reduce over East India including Orissa, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha and Telangana. Heavy rains may continue in many districts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, which will reduce significantly after August 17. Between 18 and 20 August, the weather in Rajasthan, Gujarat and South India will become almost dry.

Depression over Bay of Bengal will cause heavy rain

The depression formed over the northern parts of the Bay of Bengal will now move in the northwest direction giving heavy rains over Odisha, Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. Rain activities can be seen over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand as well as West Bengal. Rain will remain light over the West Coast of India. Good rain is also possible in some parts of Gujarat.
