In the northwest central and eastern parts of the country, cold winds will blow from the north, due to which the temperature will fall further.

Storm hit the sea coast, rains of devastation in many states

The cyclone hit the Tamil Nadu coast on the night of 9 December. Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds uprooted many trees and caused water logging and power outages in several districts. However, there has been no human damage. Now the storm has weakened into a depression. Gradually it will become a low-pressure area and many states including South Karnataka will receive light to moderate rains. There is a possibility of rain in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra during the next two-three days.

The Western Disturbance will give rain and snow over the mountains from December 8 to December 11. From December 11, there is a possibility of rain in many districts of Maharashtra including Madhya Pradesh and South Gujarat. Moderate to heavy rain is possible in some parts of Madhya Pradesh.
