Rain activities will intensify over Northeast and South India including East India during the next 2 days. From April 27, rain activities will start in Central India. And from April 28, most parts of Maharashtra including Madhya Pradesh, southern districts of Rajasthan and Gujarat will also start receiving rains. After that, rain activities will be seen in almost every state of the country, due to which the temperature will drop in the whole country and the outbreak of heat wave will almost end.

In some areas of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, thundershowers may occur for some time. Thunderstorms and rain are occurring in the northern districts of Rajasthan, further light rain may occur in the northern districts of Rajasthan. Thunderstorms or showers are possible over many districts of Punjab including Haryana Delhi and parts of northwest Uttar Pradesh. There will be heavy rain in the mountains. Two western disturbances will come continuously from 15th April. From the night of April 15 to April 23, there may be heavy rains over the mountains. The effect of Western Disturbance will also be visible in some districts of Punjab and Haryana. The maximum temperature of around 42 degrees Celsius is being observed over Odisha including many districts of Maharashtra. In Madhya Pradesh including Rajasthan and Gujarat, the temperature has crossed the 40 mark. Now the temperature will rise further and the possibility of heat waves is increasing. Rain and thundershowers are possible in many districts of Maharashtra on 13 and 14 April. During the next 2 days, there may be thunder and lightning over West Rajasthan including southern parts of Gujarat. At the end of the week, a fresh Western Disturbance may again give heavy rains over the mountains.
