A new western disturbance is reaching around the mountains. Due to this, rain and snowfall will start soon in the mountains. Rain will start in Punjab in the next 24 hours, after which Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh will see rain from Delhi and North Rajasthan. Rain activities from 16th and 17th October will be visible over the rest of Uttar Pradesh including parts of West Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Western Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of light rain in some parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai. Eastern India will remain dry, there will be light rain in North Eastern India but rain activities may intensify in South India.

The weather in Maharashtra including Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan will remain almost dry.
