Just after sowing give first irrigation and apply basal dose of fertilizer as below. Mix all these & spread over soil- DAP 40 kg, MoP 20 kg + PK Bacteria (Pro Combimaxx) 1 kg + Rhizobium (Jaivatika R) 1 kg + Humic Acid + Seaweed + Amino + Micorrhyza (Maxxmyco) 2 kg per acre.

  • Yellow to white powder appears on the upper and lower surface of the leaves of green gram.
  • For managing them use, Azoxystrobin 11% + tebuconazole 18.3% SC @ 300 ml /acre or Azoxystrobin @ 300 ml/acre
  • Spray: Trichoderma viride @ 500 gram/acre + Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre as a biological treatment

  • Aphids are small, soft-bodied small insects that can be yellow, brown, green, or black.
  • They usually suck the sap from the plant by forming groups on the corners of small leaves and twigs and secrete sticky substance (honeydew), which increases the chances of fungal diseases.
  • Leaves and twigs may wither or become yellow due to severe infestation.
  • Spraying of Thiamethoxam 25% WG @ 100 gram/acre or Imidacloprid 17.8 %SL @ 100 ml/acre or  Flonicamid 50% WG @ 60 gram/ acre to protect against aphid.
  • Use Beauveria Bassiana @ 250 gram/acre as biological treatment.

  • Brown, dry and raised spots on the surface of the leaves are the symptoms of this disease.
  • These spots are found in red color on the lower surface of the leaves.
  • When the outbreak of the disease increases, the spots get mixed together and the leaves turn yellow, so there is a premature loss.
  • To control this, spray streptomycin sulfate IP 90% + tetracycline hydrochloride 10% w/w @ 20 gm per acre or kasugamycin 3% SL @ 300 ml per acre in 200 liters of water. Or

Harvesting in moong

  • The crop should be harvested when 80-85% of pods have matured.
  • Paraquat @ 800 ml/acre can be sprayed using 150-200 litres of water for drying of crop foliage for combine harvesting of the crop.
  • Harvesting process complete with the help of the sickle.
  • During moong harvesting process do not uproot the plants.
