Several regions of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are also receiving rains. After the rain in the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand, the water level of the rivers has started increasing. For this reason, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of rain on 14 August in Uttarakhand.

Apart from Uttarakhand, the possibility of heavy rains is also being expressed by the Meteorological Department. Apart from this, the Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of torrential rain in most of the states on Thursday, while there may be light rain and thunderstorm in some places.

Looking at the seasonal forecast for the next 24 hours, it is expected that in Gujarat, East Rajasthan, Konkan Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Andhra Pradesh and parts of Telangana Light to moderate rains with some heavy showers are expected.

Due to these reasons, there is rain in these areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, this situation will remain for the next 2 days and heavy rains may occur in many states in the next 4 to 5 days. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rains may occur over Gangetic West Bengal, coastal Odisha, Gujarat, Konkan Goa, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, heavy rains may occur at one or two places between light to moderate monsoon showers in some parts of southeastern Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

According to the Meteorological Department, torrential rains are expected in many areas of North India in the next 24 hours.

During the last 24 hours, Konkan Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Rayalaseema, southern Madhya Pradesh, southern Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, West Bengal, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh have received light to moderate rains. Light rains have occurred at few places in North and East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Northeast India.

In the coming 24 hours, the Meteorological Department forecasts that light to moderate rains may occur over Konkan Goa and coastal Karnataka. In addition, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, South Rajasthan, South Madhya Pradesh, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands may receive light to moderate rains. It has been raining in many areas of Madhya Pradesh since Friday morning. Farmers of the state are also happy with the timely arrival of monsoon and getting heavy rain. It is raining heavily in the capital Bhopal in the month of June itself. The situation is that on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, the rain quota of June has almost doubled from 13.08 cm to 24.68 cm.

According to meteorologists, till now in the month of June, till Friday night, 32.25 cm of rain has been received. This is 27.65 cm more than the normal rainfall so far. According to the weather center, heavy rains are expected in many cities of Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur and Rewa divisions on Saturday as well. From June 20 to 22, there will be chances of rain in eastern Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, and Hoshangabad divisions.

In Madhya Pradesh, the monsoon has knocked on its due time and due to this, there is a period of rain and storm in many districts of the state. With the arrival of the monsoon, rains started in 22 districts of the state including the capital Bhopal on Monday.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon has reached most of the districts of Hoshangabad, Indore, Shahdol, and Jabalpur divisions. Apart from this, the monsoon has also made its presence in some districts of Ujjain division. Along with this, warnings of heavy rains have also been issued in 17 districts during the 24 hours coming from the Meteorological Department. These districts include Anuppur, Barwani, Betul, Chhindwara, Dhar, Dindori, Hoshangabad, Harda, Jhabua, Khargone, Narsinghpur, Rewa, Seoni, Shahdol, Sidhi, Singrauli, Umaria.

The monsoon is expected to move towards eastern Madhya Pradesh during the next 48 hours. The northern limit of monsoon is passing through Kandla Ahmadabad, Indore, Narsinghpur, Umaria, and Ballia.
