Incessant rains in many states across the country for the past few days have thrown life out of gear. In many places, water has come in from the streets to the streets. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. In view of the heavy rains, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in 24 states. According to the Meteorological Department, it is raining these days due to the active western disturbance and the effect of cyclonic winds.

Monsoon rains are now likely to occur in almost all the districts of Madhya Pradesh. Rain activities are going to increase in most of the departments of Uttar Pradesh. It will start raining in Punjab and Haryana including Delhi from July 9 an increase in rain activities is possible from July 10. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in the foothills of Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. Rain may also start in East Rajasthan on July 10 and 11.
