Four districts of MP will get Rs 3 crore for Kadaknath poultry farming scheme

Kadaknath poultry farming scheme

A large amount of Rs 3 crore has been sanctioned by the Central Government for four districts of Madhya Pradesh under the Kadaknath Poultry Farming Scheme. These four districts include Jhabua, Alirajpur, Barwani and Dhar.

This huge amount of Rs 3 crore will be given to 300 members of 20 committees of these districts. Every beneficiary of this scheme will be given 100 days free vaccination, 100 chickens, medicine, granule, granule-water utensils and training. For the upbringing, a shed will also be constructed by the government at the residence of the beneficiaries.

How to identify and control leafminer
  • Leaf miner insects are very small. They go inside the leaves and make tunnels. This gives white lines on the leaves.
  • The adult moth is light yellow in color and the young insect  is very small and footless yellow in color.
  • Insect infestation starts on the leaves. This insect creates a spiral tunnel in the leaves. 
  • Photosynthesis process  of plants is affected . Hence, the leaves fall.
  • For control of this insect use Abamectin 1.9 % EC @ 150 ml/acre or Chlorantraniliprole 8.8 + Thiamethoxam 17.5 SC@ 200 ml/acre or Cyantraniliprole 10.26 % OD @ 300 ml/acre. 
  • As biological treatment use Beauveria Bassiana @ 250 gram/acre

  • This disorder appears  due to irregular irrigation in the onion field.
  • Tuber bulbs start splitting  due to more irrigation in the field, later allowing it to dry completely and re-irrigation more.
  • The use of uniform irrigation and fertilizers can prevent tubers from splitting.
  • Using slow-growing onion varieties can reduce this disorder.
