  • This stage of green gram crop, has problems related to pest infestation,  fungal diseases, and growth and development.
  • To overcome all these problems,  in the green gram, it is very important to manage crops during 15-20 days.
  • To control insect infestation, spray Acetamiprid @ 20% SP@ 100 gram/acre
  • As a biological control, use Beauveria Bassiana @ 250 gram/acre.
  • Spray of Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% @ 300 gram/acre for control of fungal diseases
  • Use Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre as  a biological control of fungal diseases 
  •  For good crop growth and development, use vigormaxx gel @ 400 gram/acre + 19: 19: 19 @ 1 kg / acre as spray.

  • Green gram is cultivated on a large scale in many districts of Madhya Pradesh.
  • Green gram is included in the major pulses crops and it is a short duration crop with good production.
  • Farmers should pay special attention to weeds for about 20 to 30 days after sowing of Green gram.
  • Because in the early stages weeds cause heavy damages to the crop.
  • Farmers should use Pendimethalin 38.7 CS @ 700 ml/acre in as a pre-emergence herbicide in green gram crop.

The effect of this snowfall is also visible in other areas of the country. Due to this effect, there is a possibility of heavy rains in the northeastern states of the country in the next 3-4 days.

This scheme will give a pension of 3 thousand rupees to the farmers every month

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana

Several schemes are being run by the Government of India for the prosperity of the farmers. One such scheme is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Maandhan Yojana which was started in September 2019. Through this scheme, a target has been set to cover around 5 crore beneficiaries by FY 2021-22. Under this scheme, a pension of 3 thousand rupees is given to the eligible farmer brothers every month. If a farmer is 60 years old, then he will get 6 thousand rupees every year under the PM Kisan Yojana and besides this, a pension of 3 thousand rupees will also be given every month.

Explain that under Kisan Maandhan Yojana, benefits will be given to small and marginal farmers. Those farmers who are between the age of 18 to 40 years will be eligible to register under this scheme. A total of 21,20,310 farmers have registered themselves under the PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana.

A number of schemes are underway to empower women. One such scheme is the PNB Mahila Udyami Nidhi Yojana which motivates women to start their own business.

Loans are given under this scheme at low interest rate and low terms. A loan of up to 10 lakh rupees can be taken from this. This loan can be used to start a new business as well as to grow an already existing business.

The loan taken from this scheme has to be repaid after 5 to 10 years. Only women can apply in this and the beneficiary woman must have 51% ownership in the business.
