  • With its sharp mouthpiece, suck sap of leaves, buds and flowers, due to its infestation, the leaves turn brown on the edges or the leaves become discolored and curl upwards.

  • For prevention of thrips fipronil 5% SC @ 400 ml/acre or lambda cyhalothrin 4.9% CS @ 200 ml/acre or fipronil 40% + imidacloprid 40% WG @ 40 gram/acre or Thiamethoxam 12.6% + lambda Cyhalothrin @ 9.5% ZC @ 80 ml / acre or Spinosad 45 % Sc @ 75 ml/acre.

  • As a biological treatment, spray  Beauveria Bassiana @ 500 gram/acre.

A storm is coming in the Arabian Sea named ‘Tauktae’ and due to this storm there is a possibility of heavy rains in the western states in the coming days. Rainfall is possible between 17 to 19 May in Mumbai and surrounding areas. Rainfall may occur in many parts of Gujarat from 18 to 21 May. As the storm progresses in the coming days, its effect may also increase, due to which it can be seen in the western districts of Madhya Pradesh.

India ranks first in the world in pulses production. Even after this, pulses consumption in India is so high that even pulses have to be imported. For this reason, the government wants to become self-sufficient in the production of pulses crops and a special strategy has also been devised for this.

Under this strategy, certified seeds of pulses crops will be given free to the farmers. Mini kits of seeds will be delivered by the central and state agencies to the district level centers scheduled from 15 June 2021, from where it will be given to the farmers.
