In this episode, farmers are being encouraged by the government for protected farming. Through protected farming, farmers can take advantage of the whole year by cultivating fruits, flowers and vegetables.

Explain that modern farming methods like a poly house, shade net house and plastic mulching are adopted in protected farming. By doing this, there is no effect of the weather on the crop, as well as it is protected from pests and diseases.

Madhya Pradesh government also gives huge subsidy of up to 50% on protected cultivation of vegetables and flowers to the farmers. Farmers get subsidies up to Rs 4.5 lakh by the state government. Farmers can get the benefit of subsidy by doing protected farming on one acre or 4000 sqm area.

  • For biological treatment, spray Bave curb @ 250 gm/acre.

The monsoon line has now shifted towards the foothills of the Himalayas. Due to this, hot and dry westerly winds have started blowing over North India. Now the weather of West Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan and Gujarat will remain dry. Heavy rain may occur in East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal. Heavy rain is also expected in North East Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Northeast states. Rain may also increase in Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
