Government will give 50% subsidy for onion warehouse

Many beneficial schemes are being run by the Madhya Pradesh government for the farmers. One of these schemes is also going on for the construction of an onion warehouse. Under this, a huge subsidy of 50 percent is being given to the farmers of Madhya Pradesh for the construction of warehouses.

If you are also planning to build a warehouse to keep your crop safe, then you can take advantage of this scheme. Explain that the maximum cost of Rs 3,50,000 is charged for a warehouse with 50 metric tonnes of storage, in which farmers will get a maximum of Rs 1,75,000 as subsidy.

The benefit of this scheme can be taken by those farmers belonging to scheduled castes and tribes of the state who cultivate onion in at least a 2-hectare areas. For more information about this scheme, you can contact the Horticulture Department of Madhya Pradesh.

Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal Khattar has given instructions in this regard that the entire process of compensation distribution should be completed by February 28. Let us tell you that Rs 561.11 crore is to be given to the farmers as compensation.

  • The vector of this disease is citrus psylla insect and grafting process.

  • More leaves and fruits start falling from the plants and the plant remains dwarf.

  • Infected branches show symptoms of dieback, while other branches appear healthy.

  • The fruits of diseased plants remain green even after ripening. If such fruits are seen against sunlight, then yellow spots appear on their peels.

  • Fruits of infected plants are small, distorted, have less juice and taste unpleasant.

  • Management- This disease is transmitted by grafting, so budwood should be used from healthy plants.

  • Can spray Quinalphos [Celquin] 700 ml or Profenofos 40% + Cypermethrin 04% EC [ProfeNova]  400 ml/acre.

  • The farmers who have only one to two irrigation facilities available can plan for summer moong or urad cultivation after harvesting the rabi crop.

  • To provide easy fodder to the animals during the summer season, maize, cowpea and some special varieties of sorghum can be sown at this time. On the other hand, you can sow cucurbits in vegetables and can prepare tomato, chilli, brinjal nurseries.

  • If leaf minor problem is observed in watermelon, muskmelon field, Spray Abamectin 1.9% EC [Abacin] @ 150 ml or Spinosad 45% SC [Tracer] @ 60 ml per acre.

  • If the farmers have harvested the Rabi crop, then do not burn the crop residues.
