On reaching here, you will have to go to the ‘APPLY NEW KCC’ menu. On going to this menu, you will be asked the CSC ID and Password, which you will have to fill. After filling it, once again you have to click on ‘APPLY NEW KCC’ and then you will have to fill ‘Aadhaar’ number. Here you have to fill the number of the same applicant whose name is associated with PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. After filling the Aadhaar number, information related to PM Kisan Financial Detail will be revealed. Here you have to click on ‘Issue of fresh KCC’ and after this, Loan Amount and Beneficiary Mobile Number have to be filled. After this, the information of village name, Khasra number etc. will have to be filled. After filling all the information, click on ‘Submit Details’.

After submitting the information, a new window will open in front of you, in which you will be asked to pay. It has to be submitted from the balance of CSC ID and in this way your Kisan Credit Card will be prepared.

The harvesting of moong and urad crop has started by farmers, and the process of registration has also started for procurement of moong and urad on MSP from Madhya Pradesh government. This process has been started from 4 June and its last date is 15 June.

These dates have been announced by tweeting through the official Twitter handle of Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Department. State Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel also retweeted this tweet from the Agriculture Department on Tuesday through his official Twitter handle.

It is important to note that the wheat procurement work has been finished in the state and after that the work of purchasing other crops is also being started slowly so that farmers can focus on their other crops.

Improvement in essential commodities law, farmers will be able to sell produce outside the market

During this period, the declarations of farming were approved under the Self-Reliant India Package and many agricultural products were removed from the Essential Commodities Act.

The Essential Commodities Act is more than six decades old, which is now amended by the government. Under this amendment, essential commodities like cereals, pulses, potatoes, and onions, etc. have been removed from the law. The government has taken this decision to improve the agricultural sector and to increase the income of farmers.

The final date of the crop insurance scheme for this year has arrived. For Kharif crops, the farmers who want to avail of this benefit should insure their crops by 31 July 2020.

Indebted farmers who do not want to avail of crop insurance facility, can give written notice of it in their bank branch 7 days in advance. Apart from this, non-debtor farmers can also insure their crops. For this, these farmers will have to use CSC, bank, agent, or insurance portal.

How to apply?

You can apply for this through the bank and also online. To apply online, go to the link https://pmfby.gov.in/ and fill the form. For this application, a photo and identification card such as PAN card, driving license, voter ID card, or Aadhaar card is required. Apart from this, a document is also required for address proof, for which the farmer has to show the documents related to farming and the Khasra number. For the truth of the crop that has been sown, a letter of pradhan, patwari, or sarpanch has to be given. A cancellation check has to be given so that the claim amount comes directly into the account.

Madhya Pradesh government runs ‘Mukhyamantri Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana’ to provide financial assistance to farmers at the time of loss in agriculture. In the event of loss to the farmers under this scheme, the loss is compensated directly by sending money to the farmer’s account.

The loss to the farmers is usually due to lack of proper price for the crop. The Bhavantar Yojana comes in handy to compensate for this loss to get a fair price for the produce.

The Madhya Pradesh government pays the farmers the difference between the market price and the minimum support price (MSP) when crop prices fall from this scheme. This amount is deposited in the account of farmers.

Farmers’ profits will increase, preparations are being made to increase the support price of Kharif crops

During the Corona crisis, another good news is coming for the farmers. According to reports, to provide additional benefits to the farmers, the central government is now considering increasing the minimum support price of Kharif crops. If this happens, the support price of crops mainly paddy, cotton, and pulses will increase.

The Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices (CACP) has submitted its report to the Central Government in this regard. Now this report will be placed before the Union Cabinet. If these recommendations are accepted, the farmers will get a higher price for the crop and their income will increase.

According to media reports, the CACP has recommended raising the support price of 17 Kharif crops and paddy is the most prominent among them. CACP recommends Paddy’s MSP to be increased by 2.9% to Rs 1888 per quintal. Explain that at present the MSP of paddy is Rs 1815 per quintal.

The CACP has recommended increasing the MSP of cotton by Rs 260 per quintal. Major pulses have also been recommended for increasing the MSP, including toor, urad, and moong dal. Under this, toor dal 200 rupees per quintal, urad dal 300 rupees per quintal and moong dal 146 rupees per quintal has been asked to increase.

Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Minister Mr. Kamal Patel held a meeting with the ministry through video conferencing in which he directly interacted with the exporters. During this, he informed that more than 10 exporters of various states including Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh have shown interest in agriculture products of Madhya Pradesh through the Agricultural and Pro-version Food Products Export Development Authority.

During this meeting, the exporters requested the minister Mr. Patel that “If the state government provides the facilities, they will contract with the farmers of the state and export agricultural products to other states.” On this request of exporters, Minister Shri Patel assured them that “Chief Minister of the state Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan will take decisions in the interest of farmers and the government will provide necessary support and facilities to the exporters.”

Minister Shri Patel said that “all the necessary facilities are being made available to the farmers in the state to benefit their produce. The expert group is going to provide facilities like cold storage, grading, set standards for export, etc.”
