Now loan will be available on grains kept in warehouse

Before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the government has given another big gift to the farmers. The Central Government has started a new scheme which can provide huge benefits to the farmers. Through this scheme, farmers can now avail loans against their grains kept in warehouses. Let us tell you that this loan will be given by the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA).

To avail of the benefits of this scheme, farmers will have to keep their produce only in registered warehouses. Loans will be given to farmers based on their produce. It is noteworthy that this loan will be available at an interest rate of 7% and there will be no need to pledge anything for it. This complete information was given by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, on the occasion of the launch of WDRA’s e-Kisan Upaj Nidhi (Digital Gateway) in the capital Delhi on Monday (March 4, 2024).

Government will give 15000 drones to women farmers for use in farming

Farming has now become very easy with the modern machines used in farming. The government also gives heavy subsidies on these machines so that more and more farmers use them and increase the production of their crops. The most modern machine now being used in farming is drones, with the help of which many farming tasks are done instantly. The government is also promoting this drone technology among farmers. The government is promoting drones among women farmers through a special scheme.

Actually, under the scheme of making women millionaires, the government will give 15,000 drones to the women associated with “self-help groups”. The government will spend Rs 1261 crore for this scheme. Under the scheme, 15,000 drones will be given to women’s self-help groups during the financial year 2024-25 and the financial year 2025-26.

With the help of these drones, it will become straightforward to spray fertilizers and pesticides in the fields. To enable women to operate drones successfully, they will be given 15 days of special training from a recognized RPTO. The drone pilot will be given an honorarium of Rs 15,000 and the co-pilot will also be given Rs 10,000 under the scheme. With the help of this scheme, women of “Self Help Groups” will get an extra income of at least Rs 1,00,000 every year.

If you are a Scheduled Caste farmer then you can take advantage of this and buy a tractor with 45 HP or more power. Under this scheme, you will be given a grant of up to Rs 1 lakh. Scheduled Caste farmers eligible for the scheme can apply online till March 11. To apply, you must visit the department’s portal www.agriharyana.gov.in.
