In the national budget for the year 2021, 1 crore people have been asked to provide free LPG gas connections under the Ujjwala scheme. This will especially benefit a lot of rural women.
Explain that under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, free LPG gas connections are given to the people of BPL category. It is targeted to provide free LPG connections to about 8 crore families through this scheme.
The Ujjwala scheme is run in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of the Central Government. The government started the scheme on 1 May 2016 from Ballia in Uttar Pradesh.

For this, the farmers of Madhya Pradesh should have their own land. The government is providing a 50% subsidy for construction of ponds on this land. The farmers of all districts of Madhya Pradesh can avail this subsidy. However, small and marginal farmers of SC, ST, women category are given priority in this.
Explain that the total expenditure of the total fish farming unit is up to Rs 7 lakh. 50% of this entire expenditure will be received from the government in the form of subsidy and the remaining amount will have to be given by the beneficiary himself or from banks.

Farmers of Madhya Pradesh will soon be able to sell the yield of rabi crops at support price. The Shivraj government is going to start the process of purchasing the crop on the support price from March 15.
