Farmers are benefiting from Kisan Rail, transport of 1.75 million tonnes of produce

Union Agriculture Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar told last Wednesday that till date, this Kisan Rail has completed 455 trips to benefit farmers. During these 455 trips, Kisan Rail has brought the yield up to about one and a half million tonnes from one place to another.

1 crore new LPG Gas connections to be distributed free

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme

In order to provide LPG gas connections to the villages, the government had launched the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala scheme which is still ongoing. According to reports, this year the government is preparing to distribute 1 crore free gas connections under this scheme.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said these things in Budget 2021. Explain that under this scheme, families living below the poverty line get benefits and LPG gas connections are distributed free of cost.

As per media reports, 83 million LPG connections have been distributed under this scheme till 31 January 2021.

Rashtriya Gokul Mission Yojana

Rashtriya Gokul Mission Yojana was launched in the year 2014 with the aim of increasing the income of the people associated with animal husbandry along with the development and conservation of indigenous cows. About 1841.75 crores have been spent under this scheme till December 2020.
