To overcome this problem, the Madhya Pradesh government is going to appoint Krishak Mitra. These Krishi Mitras will provide advice and information about government schemes to the farmers related to agriculture.

The process of selection of Krishak Mitra has started again. To become Krishak Mitra, eligible farmers can apply through Rural Agricultural Extension Officer or Panchayat Secretary before August 15.

You can be eligible to become a farmer friend only if you are not in government, semi-government, non-government or any other post of profit. Apart from this, you should have agricultural land and be educated till high school. The minimum age to become a Krishi Mitra is 25 years. For this post, 30% of women farmers will be given priority.
