90% grant on moong seed and Rs 4000 per acre on moong cultivation

The government is promoting pulses and oilseeds crops. For this, subsidies are being given on moong seed to encourage farmers, as well as it has been decided to give subsidies for cultivating moong.

For the farmers of Haryana, the state government has decided to give a huge subsidy of 90% on the purchase of moong seed. Apart from this, a grant of Rs 4,000 per acre is also being given to the farmers for growing moong, urad and tur. This subsidy will be given to the farmer who had sowed millet last time and this time is cultivating moong.

Those farmers who will execute the stubble in any micro, small or medium enterprise or in other industrial units, will get an incentive of Rs 1000 per acre. The government has fixed a budget of Rs 230 crore for this scheme.
