  • In maize crops, nitrogen deficiency causes a light green colour of maize plants, growth is less than normal. Firstly the lower leaves of the plant start drying and gradually the upper leaves also dry up, the leaves turn white in colour and sometimes the leaves get burnt.

  • If more nitrogen is used in maize crops, then yellowing is more visible in the leaves and due to its excess, the amount of other nutrients is also affected. Apart from this, in the maize crops, more than one tiller starts growing near the main stem, due to which the main stem becomes very weak.

  • In the maize crop, the yield of maize is also greatly affected due to the growth of such extra buds.

  • If this type of problem is seen by the farmer in his maize field, then, first of all, pluck the extra tillers from the plant and separate them. While doing this action, keep in mind that there is no damage to the main stem, after that, for the growth of the stem, use Vigormaxx gel @ 400 g / acre and do not use more nitrogen-containing fertilizers.

Farmers of MP will get 70 thousand rupees per hectare on the cultivation of ginger and turmeric

The Horticulture Department of Madhya Pradesh has started a special scheme with the aim of promoting spice production. Under this, applications have been sought for the purpose of giving grants on the cultivation of ginger and turmeric to the farmers of the selected districts.

Through this scheme, to promote the production of root and tuber commercial crops like garlic, turmeric and ginger, 50% of the agricultural expenditure, in which the maximum amount can be up to Rs 50000, will be given to the general category farmers. Or the amount has been kept at Rs 70000 per hectare for the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe farmers, which can be 70% of the agricultural expenditure.

To take advantage of this scheme, the Horticulture Department of Madhya Pradesh has invited applications from farmers for turmeric in the Shahdol district and ginger in Tikamgarh and Niwari districts. You can apply for this scheme from 23 July 2021 at http://www.mforticulture.gov.in/en.

This yantra scares animals and birds in their own voice. Grant is also being given to this machine on demand through the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering, Madhya Pradesh. The Directorate of Agricultural Engineering is giving 40 to 50% subsidy on this machine.

Farmers willing to buy this machine can apply by visiting the Assistant Agricultural Engineer office of their district with proper documents. Among the documents required is a copy of the B1 certificate, caste certificate and Aadhar card for land.
