Let us inform you that under the Ujjwala scheme, the government provides LPG connections to families below the poverty line. The scheme is being run in collaboration with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Under this scheme, families coming below the poverty line get the assistance of Rs.1600 for an LPG connection. This amount includes cylinder, pressure regulator, booklet, safety house etc. The customers have to buy the gas stove themselves.

  • In the cotton crop, 60-80 days after sowing, the infestation of sucking insects like aphid, jassid, white fly, thrips, spider, pink bollworms,  that damage cotton balls and other fungal diseases like leaf spot etc. is mainly seen at the time of flowering/ball formation stage, control of these pests and diseases. Along with this, arrangements should be made at the proper time to get good numbers of flowers. 

  • Management: Spray Celcron 50% EC @ 500 ml/acre + Emamectin 5% SG @ 100 gm/acre, (with severe problem with Spinosad 45% SC @ 75 ml/acre) + Acephate 50% + Imidacloprid 1.8% SP) @ Spray 300 gm/acre + Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% @ 300 gm/acre + Homobrassinolide 0.04% @ 100 ml/acre.

  • For biological control, spray Bavaria bassiana @ 500 gm + Pro amino max @ 250 gram / acre.

  • At this stage, the cotton crop needs more nutrition, for this 0:52:34 @ 1 kg per acre can be sprayed, it helps in the formation of more flowers and cotton balls.

  • In this way, by managing nutrition, pests and diseases, a lot of profit is obtained from the cotton crop.

Light to moderate rain is likely over East Madhya Pradesh, while the weather will remain dry over West Madhya Pradesh. The first fortnight of August will remain dry like conditions for North-West India. There is very little chance of rain from Punjab to Gujarat and Rajasthan. Only scattered rain is possible in Maharashtra. There will be heavy rain in the central and eastern districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and northeastern states. Rain activities are also likely to increase over Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Rayalaseema.
