There are many farmers who are earning well from sandalwood cultivation. One of these farmers is Utkrisht Pandey, a resident of Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh. He started a sandalwood business with just 1 lakh rupees and his monthly income has increased from 60 to 80 lakh rupees.

Surendra of Haryana also started the cultivation of sandalwood with only 1 lakh rupees that too on a very small scale. They also started getting good profits in a very short time. There are many examples like Surendra and Utkrisht doing this.

Let us tell you that there are two types of sandalwood cultivation in which one is the traditional method and the other is the organic method. The cost of sandalwood in India is 8 to 10 thousand rupees while in foreign countries 20 to 22 thousand rupees.
