For Rabi and Kharif crops, the government has been providing the facility of a crop insurance scheme to the farmers. With the help of which the farmer brothers are able to compensate for the damage caused by natural calamity to the crops. In this episode, an insurance scheme has been started in the interest of horticulture farmers. Haryana government has announced the ‘Mukhyamantri Horticulture Insurance Scheme’ for the farmers of the state.

With the help of this scheme, farmers of the state will be able to insure 21 crops like vegetables, fruits and spices. These include 14 vegetables and 5 fruits. These include mango, kinnow, berry, guava, and litchi. Also, turmeric and garlic crops have been added to the spices.

Under this scheme, 100% compensation will be given in case of a 75% loss in the crop. Apart from this, in case of loss ranging from 51% to 75%, compensation will be given at the rate of 75% for vegetables and spices at the rate of Rs 22,500 and for fruits at the rate of Rs 30,000 per acre. On the other hand, for vegetables and spices between 26% to 50%, compensation will be given at the rate of Rs 15,000 per acre for vegetables and spices. At the same time, the compensation amount will be provided at the rate of Rs 20,000 per acre for fruits on this loss.

Its name is Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana. Through this scheme, an assistance amount of 25 thousand rupees will be made available to the daughters.

Under this scheme, the government will provide this amount to the daughters in instalments from birth till their education. Which will be between one thousand to five thousand rupees. Let us inform you that earlier the Kanya Sumangal scheme 1.0 was being run. Under this, an amount of 15 thousand rupees was given in six different phases. In view of its success, the government has increased the amount in 2.0 Sukanya Yojana to Rs.25 thousand.

The objective of this scheme is to provide rations to economically weaker families at affordable prices. According to the government, this time there is a plan to connect 10 lakh people of the state with a BPL ration card. Apart from this, the state government has announced to give 35 kg of wheat every month free of cost to tribal families and Antyodaya families.

To take advantage of this scheme, the beneficiary has to apply through E-Mitra. Let us inform you that the Central Government is already distributing ration in the whole country under the One Nation One Card. With the help of this scheme, poor and poor people are being provided wheat at Re 1 per kg. At the same time, under the flagship scheme, BPL, state BPL families are being given 5 kg wheat per unit.
