The central and state governments are running many schemes in the interest of the daughters of the country. In Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi government has also announced a special scheme for daughters. Its name is Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana. Through this scheme, an assistance amount of 25 thousand rupees will be made available to the daughters.
Under this scheme, the government will provide this amount to the daughters in instalments from birth till their education. Which will be between one thousand to five thousand rupees. Let us inform you that earlier the Kanya Sumangal scheme 1.0 was being run. Under this, an amount of 15 thousand rupees was given in six different phases. In view of its success, the government has increased the amount in 2.0 Sukanya Yojana to Rs.25 thousand.
According to the announcement, the state government will soon implement this scheme. For this, the Women’s Welfare Department of the state has started fulfilling the promise of the government.
