Management of sucking pests is necessary in the early stage of cotton crop

  • Cotton is a major cash crop. It is a crop grown in the Kharif season.

Organic farming will be easier now, know government’s plan

The increasing use of chemical fertilizers in agriculture has a significant impact on the yield potential of the soil. Decreased nutrients in the soil have also led to a decrease in productivity. In such a situation, the central and state governments are advising to adopt of natural farming. Along with this, many schemes are also being run at the state level to promote natural farming, so that more and more farmers can save the land from becoming barren by adopting natural farming.

In this sequence, the Government of Rajasthan is running a special mission to encourage natural farming. Through this, organic seeds, biofertilizers and insecticides will be made available to the farmers of the state. Apart from this, many efforts are also being made to provide full benefits to the farmers through natural farming.

Under this, an ‘Organic Commodity Board’ is being formed, where arrangements will be made to certify the organic products of farmers. Along with this, three farmers who have done excellent work in organic farming will be honoured every year by giving prize money of Rs. 1 lakh each at the state level function. According to the government, about 4 lakh farmers of the state will get benefits from this scheme.
