All the farmers of the state will get 22 thousand rupees

The central and state governments are taking many steps for the welfare of the poor and farmers. In this episode, many schemes are also being run by the Shivraj government of Madhya Pradesh. With the help of these schemes, financial assistance of up to Rs 22,000 is being given every year to people with low income and agriculture.

In fact, the assistance of Rs 22,000 is not available under any one scheme, but it can be availed from different schemes. In these schemes, farmers get 6 thousand rupees every year from the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is being run by the Central Government. On the other hand, farmers get Rs 4000 every year from the Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana of the Madhya Pradesh government.

Apart from these two schemes, under the Ladli Bahna Yojana, the assistance of Rs 12,000 is given every year to poor women. In this way, a family in Madhya Pradesh can get a total assistance of Rs 22 thousand from the government every year.

Along with agriculture and animal husbandry, many farmers also earn well by doing fish farming. Fish farming strengthens the rural economy, which is why the government also works for it in the interest of the farmers. Some state government also gives heavy subsidy for making ponds for fish farming.

The Rajasthan government gives 60 to 70% of the total expenditure as a subsidy to the farmers of the state for the construction of a 1200 cubic meters raw farm pond and plastic lining farm pond under the Kisan Farm Pond Scheme. To take advantage of this, farmers will have to apply on the portal of e-Mitra.

In Bihar too, up to 70% subsidy is available for the construction of ponds. This subsidy is received from the “Bihar Animal and Fisheries Resources Department” under the “Chief Minister’s Integrated Chaur Development Scheme – 2022-23”. Under this scheme, farmers can get a maximum subsidy of up to Rs 6 lakh 78 thousand 300.

Uttar Pradesh government gives a 50% subsidy to farmers for the construction of ponds under the “Pardarshi Kisan Sewa Yojana”. In this scheme, priority is given to SC/ST, minority and small/marginal farmers.

Farmers of this state will get immediate compensation for crop damage

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana

Recently, there was heavy rain in many states of the country, due to which the farmers have suffered a lot. To make up for this loss, many state governments have announced compensation. In this series, the Uttar Pradesh government has also announced to provide compensation to the farmers of the state under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

It may be noted that Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana is providing compensation amount to the farmers in lieu of crop damage from the years 2017-18 to 2022-23. So far, a total of 48.21 farmers have benefited from this scheme. At present, under this scheme, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced relief to the farmers who are victims of natural calamities. This money will be transferred to the farmers’ accounts on the basis of losses incurred.
