  • Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman told that the agricultural credit target will increase to 20 lakh crores.

  • Nirmala Sitharaman told that the government is promoting coarse cereals.

  • An amount of 2,200 crores has been allocated for horticulture produce.

  • The Finance Minister said that digital infrastructure for agriculture will increase, along with modern technology in agriculture will also be increased.

  • Referring to small farmers, Finance Minister Sitharaman said that the allocation of PM Awas Yojana has been increased by 66% to 79,000 crores.
