Monsoon will bid farewell with heavy rain, see weather forecast

Signs of departure of monsoon have started appearing from the hills including parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Western Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Monsoon will start withdrawing from here soon. Now there may be heavy rain along the coast of Karnataka and Kerala including southern coastal Maharashtra. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Good rain will continue over West Bengal, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and southern peninsula including Lakshadweep, southern parts of Bihar. There may be sporadic rain in south-eastern Rajasthan and light to moderate rain in southern Gujarat.

90 percent subsidy on mushroom cultivation, know what is the government’s plan

Mushroom is considered to be a very high-protein food and is very much liked among people who adopt vegetarianism for protein intake. There are various species of mushrooms available all over the world, which are not only delicious but also liked due to their nutritional value. In view of the high demand for mushrooms, their cultivation is proving beneficial for the farmers.

The government is also emphasizing getting mushroom cultivation done by the farmers. In this series, the Horticulture Department under the Bihar Government is now giving subsidies of up to 90% to the farmers cultivating mushrooms. The Horticulture Department is also promoting mushroom cultivation on a wide scale so that farmers are motivated to do mushroom cultivation. Under this, a target of cultivation of 13500 insect mushrooms has been set in various areas of Aurangabad district under the Chief Minister Horticulture Mission Scheme.

Through this scheme, mushroom pests will be given to the farmers. For this, all the necessary guidelines have been issued by the department and soon the process of receiving applications from farmers will also be started. Farmers wishing to take advantage of the scheme should contact the Block Horticulture Officer or the District Assistant Director of Horticulture to get detailed information about the scheme.

100 percent subsidy on seeds fertilizers and new technology

The central and state governments run many types of schemes with the aim of helping increase the income of farmers in the country. One such scheme is ‘Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana’ which has been started with the aim of providing financial help to the farmers. Through this, farmers can get good yields by using high-quality seeds, fertilizers and new technologies. Financial assistance and training in new technologies are also provided through this scheme.

Let us tell you that under ‘Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana’, two different types of benefits are available. The subsidy is given up to 60% by the Central Government and up to 40% by the State Government. If you are a resident of hilly states, then about 70% of your expenditure will be subsidized by the central government and a 10% subsidy will be given by the state government. Around September 30 or October 1, a low pressure will form in the Bay of Bengal which may deepen further but the possibility of it becoming a storm is very less or can be said to be negligible.
