How to control Blight in Summer moong crop
  • Blight: In this disease, dark brown spots are seen on the leaves, spots on the stems are deformed, long, suppressed and purple-black in color. They later merge and surround the entire trunk. Irregular red or brown spots appear on the beans, in the acute stage of the disease, the stem starts to weaken.
  • Chemical treatment: Mancozeb 75% WP @ 600 gram/acre or Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% @ 300 gram/acre or  Thiophanate Methyl  70% W / W @ 300 gram/acre or chlorothalonil 75% WP @ 400 gram/acre .
  • Biological management: As a biological treatment, spray Trichoderma viride @ 500 g / acre or Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre.

In the last 24 hours in central India, the temperature has increased significantly in Rajasthan as well as in Gujarat and Vidarbha. Heatwave conditions persist in some areas of Gujarat, southern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada. Temperatures in these areas will remain above 40 degrees and heatwave conditions will also be maintained for the next 2 days.

  • In 25-30 days of green gram crop, problems like pest infestation, fungal disease attacks, and stunted growth and development occur.
  • To overcome these problems, it is very important to do crop management in 25-30 days of green gram crop.
  • To control the pest infestation, spray of Bifenthrin  10% EC @ 300 ml/acre with chlorantraniliprole @ 18.5% SC @ 60 ml/acre
  • As a biological control, use Bavaria Basiana @ 250 g / acre.
  •  Spray  Thiophanate  Methyl 70% W / W @ 300 gram / acre for control of fungal diseases
  • Use as a biological control of fungal diseases by Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre
  • For good flowering and growth in green crops, use Homobrassinolide @ 100 ml /acre as spray.
  • Do spray this on the new moon day of April.

8th installment of PM Kisan has started reaching the accounts of farmers

From April 1, under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, 2000 rupees of the 8th installment have started coming into the bank accounts of the farmers. It is worth noting that under PM Kisan Yojana, the central government provides Rs 6,000 every year to help the farmers of the country financially. These money are sent to the farmers account in three installments. The government has so far sent seven installments to the farmers’ accounts. Its 8th installment is now going into farmers’ accounts.

If a farmer has registered with this scheme but the amount has not reached his account, then he can check his status through online.

  • To check your status, visit the official website of the scheme ? pmkisan.gov.in and click on Farmer’s Corner. After this you will see Beneficiary status. Now you click on it.

  • After clicking on the beneficiary status, you will have to enter your Aadhaar number, account number and mobile number. After doing so, you will get information about whether your name is in the list of beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
  • If your name is in this list and there is no mistake in it, then you will definitely get the benefit of the scheme.

There is a possibility of a hit wave condition especially in the western districts of western Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Marathwada and Madhya Pradesh. In the coming days, the heat in these areas will increase further, and there is no possibility of relief from the heat at present.

How to control leaf miner disease in tomato
  • Leaf miner insects are very small in size. They burrow inside the leaves and make tunnels. This makes white lines on the leaves. The adult moth is light yellow in color and the young insect  is very small, footless and yellow in color.Insect infestation begins on the leaves. This insect creates a spiral tunnel in the leaves. Photosynthesis process  of plants is affected . Hence, the leaves fall.
  • Chemical management: – Abamectin 1.9% EC @ 150 ml / acre or Spinosad 45% SC @ 75 ml/acre or Cyantraniliprole 10.26% OD @ 300 ml/acre for control of this pest.
  • Biological treatment: – As a biological treatment, use Beauveria bassiana @ 500 gram/acre.

  • Symptoms of bacterial wilt infection can be seen on all parts of infected plants.
  • The leaves turn yellow, then the whole plant dries up and dies.
  • Watermelon crop starts drying in patches
  • For prevention of this disease use Kasugamycin 5% + Copper Oxychloride 45% WP @ 300 gram/acre or Kasugamycin 3% SL@ 400 ml/acre 
  • As biological treatment use Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gram/acre.
