A new technique of irrigation, Which will use every drop of water in the fields

Drip irrigation
  • Water availability for the successful production of a good crop is an important factor. Due to the ever-increasing population and climate change, the water available in the ground is decreasing.

  • due to which the production of crops is constantly decreasing. Drip irrigation was invented to solve this problem which has proved to be a boon for farmers.

  •  In this method, water is transported directly from plastic pipes’ sources to plants’ roots. It’s called fertigation.

  • Saves 60-70% of water compared to other irrigation systems.

  • Drip irrigation helps plants to provide nutrients with greater efficiency.

  • Drip irrigation can prevent losses of water (due to evaporation and leakage).

  • Water in drip irrigation is given directly to the crop roots. Due to this, the surrounding soil becomes dry, and weeds cannot be grown.

Due to heavy smog, the air has become poisonous, the level of air pollution has increased in many areas

know the weather forecast,

A blanket of smog has spread over Delhi and all the areas around it, that is, a thick layer of fog and pollution has formed. The reason for this is that the winds are very weak, so the air pollution has increased. It is not able to spread in a large area and on top of that the winds are also cold which are frozen around the earth. Dust and soil particles are stuck with the moisture of the fog and this situation can remain for the next two-three days until the winds do not get stronger. So much pollution can be fatal, so take care of yourself, wear a mask when you go out. Do not exercise in the open in the morning and evening and also avoid morning-evening walks.

Heavy fine will be imposed on burning stubble, make bumper earnings by adopting other options

Heavy fine will be imposed on burning stubble

The paddy crop planted in Kharif is now almost ripe and the time for its harvesting is near. It is seen that many farmers burn the crop residues left after harvesting. Doing this not only damages the environment but also reduces the yield capacity of the field. Farmers are usually not aware of this, that is why they burn the crop residues. However, now the government has also started taking strict steps in this regard. In this episode, an order has been issued in Satna, Uttar Pradesh under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 that a complete ban has been imposed on burning crop residues and stubble in the district.

Let us tell you that if this order is not followed and if stubble is burnt, farmers may have to pay a fine of Rs 2,500 to Rs 15,000. In such cases, legal action will also be taken under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is worth noting that now many modern machines are available to dispose of stubble. Machines like “baler” and “rack” collect the straw and make bundles which can be sold commercially at good prices. Apart from this, the straw is mixed with the soil with the “super seeder” machine and seeds are sown directly on it, due to which the straw acts as fertilizer.

Get polyhouse and shade net installed at half the cost, government is giving bumper subsidy

High-Tech Horticulture Scheme

Nowadays farmers are earning more profit than before by farming with polyhouse and shade net techniques. However, many farmers face financial challenges in using these techniques. With the aim of reducing these challenges a bit, the Bihar government is providing subsidy of up to 50% on farming with polyhouse and shade net through “High-Tech Horticulture Scheme”.

Under this scheme, the farmers of the state will get subsidy of up to 50% on the unit cost of Rs 935 per square meter for setting up polyhouse and Rs 710 per square meter for shade net.

Let us tell you that by farming in polyhouse, the crop does not face any problem from seasonal disasters like strong sunlight, harsh cold and strong winds and the crop remains safe. Apart from this, the yield is also good and the farmer earns more profit.

Farming with shade net also helps in protecting the plants from the extreme heat and ultraviolet rays of the sun. Due to this, moisture remains in the soil, due to which the plants grow rapidly.

However, if you also want to take advantage of this scheme, then for this go to the official website of the Horticulture Department of the Government of Bihar and apply after getting complete information about the scheme.
