Drones are used in many fields, but now they use of drones has also started increasing in the agricultural sector. Drones are a good and cheap alternative to pesticides in the fields and this option was used recently with the help of Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Horticulture College located in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.

As an initial experiment, drones were sprayed with insecticides in soybean crops. This experiment was also very successful. In the coming days, it can be used for the farmers in other areas of the state as well.

Please tell that currently it is being displayed by a private company. Under this, a fee of Rs 500 is charged for spraying an area of one acre. At present this rate seems to be high but this rate will come down further in the coming time.
