Farmers of 25 districts of Madhya Pradesh will get 40% subsidy on onion cultivation

In order to promote onion production in Madhya Pradesh, the government is going to take some new steps. Under this, the hybrid vegetable “Kharif Onion” scheme is being started. Applications have been invited from farmers under this scheme. Under this, 40 percent of the unit cost will be given to the farmer as a grant. The government has fixed the cost of 50 thousand under this scheme and the farmer applying will get a grant of 20 thousand per unit.

Under this scheme, farmers of 25 districts of the state who have 2 hectares of land can apply online. These 25 districts include Raisen, Rajgarh, Hoshangabad, Harda, Betul, Gwalior, Guna, Datia, Ashoknagar, Alirajpur, Khargone, Barwani, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Shajapur, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Dindori, Singrauli, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Damoh are included.
