The central government has given relief to the common man amid rising inflation. This relief is being given on LPG. Actually, now a subsidy facility will be given to provide LPG at a low cost. This feature was stopped some time ago. However, now the government will transfer the subsidy money to the customers in the bank account.

Let us tell you that at present, a discount of Rs 303 is being given by the government on domestic LPG cylinders. At present, cylinders available for Rs 900 can be found for Rs 587. Earlier, the facility of subsidy was given by the central government in the year 2020. At this time its price was Rs 731, which after getting subsidy was Rs 583.33.

Know how to control powdery mildew disease in pea crop

  • This is one of the main diseases caused by fungus in the pea crop. The symptoms of this disease first appear on the old leaves, after that they spread to other parts of the plant.

  • The powder gets deposited on both the surfaces of the pea leaves. Powdery spots are formed on tender stems, pods etc. A white powdery substance appears on the surface of the plant. The fruits either do not grow or remain small.

  • For chemical treatment, spray Hexaconazole 5% SC @ 400 ml or Sulfur 80% WDG @ 500 gm or Tebuconazole 10% + Sulfur 65% WG @ 500 gm/acre.

  • For biological treatment, spray of Trichoderma viride @ 500 gm/acre or Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gm/acre can be done.

  • This disease is found in high-temperature regions like Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Karnataka and is mainly seen in soybean-wheat crop rotation.

  • The disease is caused by a fungus called Sclerocium rolfsii, which is found in infected soil. 

  • Plants affected by this disease develop white fungus on the collar part above the root and the above-ground part of the stem rots and finally, the diseased plant dies.

  • Chemical treatment: Spray Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC @ 300 ml/acre or Chlorothalonil 75% WP @ 400 gm/acre or Kitazin 48% EC @ 300 ml/acre.

  • Biological treatment: Apply Pseudomonas fluorescens @ 250 gm/acre.
