Madhya Pradesh government is going to start a new initiative ‘Gram Gaurav Diwas’ for the development of rural areas. The main purpose of which is to take the important schemes of the government to the people and to organize the origin of that village as a festival.

State Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan talked about uniting everyone to make this initiative a success through video conferencing. Under this initiative, all the people will prepare a roadmap for the development of their village and the government will help them to make it a success. The government will fully cooperate with them to upgrade the village in every important field like education for environment and social upliftment. So that every village can move forward towards progress by connecting with the government.

At present, to celebrate this day, the state government has started gathering information related to the origin and origin of the village in every panchayat and village so that a date can be ensured by the villagers in that village’s gram sabha, and on that date. But only that village could celebrate its ‘Gram Gaurav Diwas’.

On this special occasion, eminent poets, lyricists and enlightened people in that village will put together the importance of the village in detail in front of all the villagers. It has also been suggested to organize song, music and cultural program along with sports on the pride day of the village. So that from children, youth to elders and women of the village can also be a part of this event.

Many farmers have to suffer crop damage due to nilgai, wild boar and monkeys. A new scheme will be started for all such farmers, which will end this problem. For this ‘Mukhyamantri Khet Suraksha Yojana’ will be started in Madhya Pradesh.

Under this scheme, the Horticulture Department will give grants for chain fencing in the fields. After getting approval in the cabinet, this scheme will be implemented in the Horticulture Department.

In this scheme, four categories are proposed for the farmers to install chain fencing. Subsidy of 70% will be given on 1-2 hectares, 60% on 2-3 hectares, 50% on 3-5 hectares and 40% on more than 5 hectares.
