Farmers are getting solar pumps at a 75% subsidy

The electricity problem is seen in many areas of the country and especially the farmers have to face a lot of trouble due to this problem. Due to this farmers are not able to irrigate their fields at the right time. To overcome this problem of the farmers, the Central Government is running the “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha and Utthan Maha Abhiyan (KUSUM)” scheme.

Under this scheme, farmers get solar pumps on subsidies. With the use of solar pumps, farmers do not face any problems in irrigating their fields. This also reduces the consumption of diesel, which is why the government is promoting this scheme.

Under this scheme, farmers in different states get a 60% subsidy, while in Haryana 75% subsidy is given in this scheme. This subsidy is available to the farmers for installing solar pumps for agricultural purposes.

To avail of this scheme, the life of the insured must be between 18 and 59 years.

The annual premium under this scheme is 200 rupees. Of this, the government will add 100 rupees. If the insured is from a rural area and is included in 48 business groups doing business of beedi workers, carpenters, fisheries, handicrafts etc., then they do not have to pay 100 rupees.

Rajasthan government has started preparations for government procurement of wheat. The date of the program for procurement of wheat at Minimum Support Price (MSP) has been released. According to this, the program will start from March 15 in the wheat procurement Kota division and from April 1 in the rest of the districts, which will continue till June 10. This year the government procurement of wheat will be done at an MSP of Rs 2015 per quintal.

A total of 389 purchase centres have been set up in the state for the purchase of wheat. The information of which can be obtained on the official website of the Food Department. Keeping in mind that no problem should arise during this program, many arrangements have been made by the government.

  • Under this, arrangements have been made for weighing hooks during the purchase centre, storage, procurement and lifting.

  • Orders have been given to disseminate the quality parameters issued by the Government of India to every panchayat and village level.

  • Laws and traffic-related guidelines have also been issued to ensure that there is no traffic jam during this program.

  • Along with this, teams of members of officers have been formed, which will keep inspecting the purchasing centres from time to time.
