Under this, an amount of Rs 10 crore 70 lakh has been released online to cattle farmers, and women groups associated with Gauthans and Gauthan committees. Let us inform that Godhan Nyay Yojana of Chhattisgarh state is the only such scheme in the country and the world, which is buying cow dung from cattle rearers and Gauthans.

  • Spray insecticides in the crop on time.

  • Chemical control- For the control of this pest, spray at Emamectin Benzoate 5% SG [EmaNova] 100 gm or Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 % SC [Coragen] 60 ml or Spinosad 45 % SC [Tracer] 75 ml or Quinalphos 25% Ec [CELQUIN] 600 ml dissolved in 200 liter of water per acre. 

  • Biological control – Spray Bavaria bassiana [Bave curb] @ 500 gm/acre.

Due to the availability of sufficient water from these ponds, crop production increases. Due to this farmers get good profit.

To take advantage of this scheme, one has to apply online by visiting the official website of the state government at dbt.mpdage.org. Explain that this grant is given according to the category of the applicants. Where the maximum grant amount of 50% to the small or marginal farmers is 80 thousand rupees and the maximum grant amount of 75% to the farmers of a scheduled caste or scheduled tribe category is Rs 1 lakh. Apart from this, the maximum amount of 40% is given to the general category, 80 thousand rupees.

Apart from this, the government has issued more new rules for cow rearing protection.

  • For cow rearing, the animal owner should have 100 yards of space.

  • If a stray animal is found on the roads, a fine of 10 thousand will have to be paid.

  • The ear tag of the animal owner shall be affixed with the name/address of the animal.

  • Animals will have to be kept in a systematic place, tying them in open places will be prohibited.

At the same time, if anyone is found violating these rules issued by the state government, then his license will be cancelled as a fine. After that, he would never be able to do animal husbandry business. According to the state government, due to these rules, about 90% of the animals in the state can be protected.
