More than half of India will receive rain, see weather forecast

Monsoon has reached South India but remains weak. The rain activities are likely to increase during the next few days. At present, pre-monsoon rain activities will continue in many states of the country. Light to moderate rain is likely over East India, Central India and South India. Northeast India including Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands may receive heavy rains. There is a possibility of light rain over the mountains and thunder in North India. The weather in Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh will remain dry and hot.

Monsoon has knocked in Kerala but Monsoon rains are yet to be seen. Perhaps the Meteorological Department has shown haste in declaring the monsoon. No good rain is expected over Kerala Tamil Nadu Karnataka Andhra Pradesh Telangana and Maharashtra for the next 1 week. Rain activities will start increasing in the northeastern states after 2 days and from June 2, there may be torrential rains in many places. The weather over Northwest and Central India is likely to remain dry and hot.

Monsoon knock in Kerala, monsoon will be weak in the beginning

Monsoon has reached Kerala 3 days ahead of time. Now Kerala, Tamil Nadu and South Karnataka may receive light to moderate rain with heavy rain at one or two places. Rain activities will remain good over Northeast states as well. Temperatures have started rising in North-West India including Delhi and Delhi has crossed the 40-degree mark.

Development of villages being done by Adarsh Gram Yojana, many facilities are available

The Government of India had started the ‘Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana’ for the development of villages. The aim of which is to provide necessary basic facilities to all the villages across the country. This includes important schemes like Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, Bharat Nirman, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, ICDS. For which financial assistance is provided by the government.

Under this scheme, those villages of the country are selected, in which more than 50% of the people belonging to Scheduled Castes live, so that the gap between non-SC and SC populations can be reduced. Through the scheme, attention is being paid to education, and social security in these villages, especially for children and women. Along with this, emphasis is being laid on sanitation and drinking water, food security, clean fuel and electricity, livelihood and skill development, and digitization with agricultural practices.

By becoming a self-sufficient model village under this scheme, villagers will get many options for employment. Due to this villagers will not have to run to cities for better livelihood. At present, under this scheme, the central government has started making thousands of tribal villages in the country ideal villages.

Pre Monsoon rains are continuing over all the states of Northeast India including Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. This will continue till the onset of the monsoon. At the beginning of June, the rain activities will increase over the northeastern states. Light rain is possible over East India and Central India’s Vidarbha, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Konkan and Goa. Rain will continue over the hills but Gujarat and West Rajasthan including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh will remain dry.
